Both the Magic and the Cougars won their divisions at the Adult Challenge Cup on the weekend! Congratulations everyone!!
Great Start!
Both the Magic and the Cougars got off to a great start at the Adult Challenge Cup in Hamilton last night. Each team won their game by a seven goal spread and is in good shape for their afternoon games today.

Both the Cougars and the Magic are playing in Hamilton on the weekend of the 9th. Come out to watch some great Ringette and support the league! You can find the schedule on our Calendar, or at the tournament web site.
Ice Changes for February
Hi ladies.
I justed wanted to let you know that there has been a change in ice on Feb. 12 and 19. Originally, the ice was cancelled for Feb. 12 and we had ice on Feb. 19. Now, that is switched! There is two hours of ice on Friday, Febraury 12 and no ice on Friday, February 19.
The Cougars are at a tournament in Waterloo on Feb. 12 so Kathy is trying to set up an exhibition game with either Pickering or Etobicoke for those who will be there.
So, mark Feb. 12 on your calendars as a ringette day and go ahead and make other plans for Feb. 19!

Good morning! As promised on our Twitter feed last night, updated statistics have been posted.
We also have a team from the league headed to St. Catharines this weekend to play in a tournament. As results become available we will attempt to post them on the Tournaments page or on Twitter.

League ends the year together in Hamilton!
It was a great weekend for both the Pylons and the Cougars! Everyone had a lot of fun together at the rinks, restaurants and hotel and it was really great to see members of both teams hanging around to cheer each other on.
In their semi-final on Saturday afternoon the Pylons worked hard, but came up just short in their loss to Hamilton. Everyone said they had a great time and can’t wait to get on the ice again. Most of the team hung around the two hours between the end of their game and the start of the Cougars final game to watch the Cougars win another championship!
There were lots of photos taken and we’ll be posting them shortly. If you have any you would like to share please email them to Jackie!
Adult Cup Update – Pylons and Cougars shoot for finals!
Two games for the Cougars yesterday resulted in two wins! Sharilyn’s been playing great in net and has only allowed a total of three goals (one of which Jackie scored on her). The next game is the finals today at 5:00pm.
Hopefully the Pylons will be playing in a final at 6pm tonight, all they need to do is beat Hamilton today at 2pm. They played even better last night than Thursday night, so they are definitely starting to peak for the semis and finals!

Thank you to everyone who came out to the Annual General Meeting last Friday. It was a lot of fun and there was lots of great feedback from everyone. I’ve posted the slideshow we were playing on You Tube, but you can also find it on our Photos page. We’ve also posted the AGM Report on the Executive section of the website. If you couldn’t make the AGM and you would like to register early for next year to save some money please email us by the end of April or the offer will expire!
Good luck to the Cougars and Pylons who are both playing in Hamilton this weekend! It’s going to be a lot of fun!!
