Cougars in Waterloo this weekend!

The Cougars are playing in the Waterloo tournament this weekend in the Open C division.  They are up against Dorchester, St. Jacobs and Waterloo and hopefully will be in the finals on Sunday afternoon!  Good luck team!

One Hour Ice

Quick update for everyone, there is only one hour of ice this week, from 9:00pm – 10:00pm only.  I hope everyone can make it out as several league members will be away this Friday.

Look for a statistics update later today or tomorrow, as well as detailed results from the Cougars exhibition game win over Pickering yesterday.

Happy New Year!

I hope you all had a happy and healthy holiday season. It was unfortunate that we had to cancel our holiday celebration on December 19th, so we’re doing it this Friday instead!

So this is just a reminder that we would like to invite ALL of our players join us to play for two full hours!

We encourage everyone to bring holiday treats to share between games and we’d love to have a big crowd at Shoeless Joe’s afterwards. The restaurant is just north of 16th on Hwy #48.

Invite your friends and family out to watch and join us for snacks and at the restaurant too.

We always welcome new skaters that might want to try it for a night, so invite anyone that might want come out to see what the MWRA is like!
