Well the Pylons are in Ottawa this weekend and their first game is under their belt. The Silverspoon website doesn’t have any results posted yet, but as soon as I hear from the team I’ll let you know how they’re doing!

Year End PARTY!!
Hi Everyone!
I have sent out an evite for our annual year end meeting that is going to be held on April 3rd at the Thornhill Community Centre in the Fireside Lounge at 6:30pm. The party is catered so we need to know if you can make it by March 24th and whether or not you would like to enjoy chicken cacciatore, roasted potatoes, salads, desserts and drinks for only $12. You are also welcome to join us and not have the meal. You can RSVP to Jackie via email (jmdeschenes@gmail.com) or RSVP on the evite you received.
There will be year end awards handed out as well as lots of news and information about a summer event, an early registration discount, a bring-a-friend discount and lots of plans for next year.
Overall it will be a great night with good friends and lots of laughs and fun.

Three things!
Hello ladies. It’s me once again. Three things this time:
1. Thank you so much for responding to our survey. We discussed the results at our last Executive meeting and really tried to take what you all had to say into account. That being said, we have prepared another small survey because we needed some clarification from the first one. Also, we have decided to give out some league awards this year at the AGM so you can vote on those on the survey. To all of you who are wondering, the survey is anonymous. We can’t see who gives what answer (only your IP address so don’t go throwing that around at ringette!). Please complete the survey by Friday, March 13th if possible. It’s the same format as last time. Thanks!

2. There have been substantial proposed changes made to our league constitution for this year. I have attached a .pdf copy that we would appreciate everyone reading over before the AGM on Friday, April 3. We will need to vote on it at the AGM so that it can come into effect. We are 90% sure that the AGM will be held at Thornhill Community Centre at Bayview and John (we needed a room where we could be heard, that’s why it’s not at Shoeless Joes this year). Sheri is looking into getting a caterer as well (for a nominal fee of course) so we can have dinner while we meet. Futher details to follow as they become confirmed. Please put April 3 on your calendar now though!!!
3. There will be 2 hours of ice this Friday night. The Cougars are in Hamilton but there will be goalies and a ref so this is a great opportunity to get lots of ice. I know a lot of people don’t show up if you know 10 people are going to be away, but that’s exactly why you need to! If you can make it on Friday, please show up so everyone can get a good game. There are only two ice times left, this Friday and next Friday!!!
